ANNOUNCEMENT: Due to the winds and cold temperatures expected Saturday, we will move the Frosty 5K and Jingle Bell Mile to Monday, Dec. 26th. We will have the Jingle Bell Mile at 11 am and the Frosty 5K at 11:30 am.

Packet pick-up will happen on Friday, Dec. 23rd, from 4-8 pm and also on Saturday, Dec. 24th from 12-3 pm. No packet pick-up on the 25th (Christmas). You can also pick up/ register on race morning starting at 10 am on Monday at the finish line (Field behind Food Lion on North Main).

The Frosty 5K is the final race in the RunAbout Race Series. The 19th annual Frosty 5K takes place behind the Food Lion Grocery Store on North Main Street in Blacksburg, with the majority of the race run on roads and paved bike paths. The race has a fast 1st mile and a challenging last mile to help burn those holiday calories! Every mile is marked with water available at mile two and a variety of snacks at the finish. Every 5k participant is guaranteed a long-sleeve shirt with registration before 12/14! Extra shirts will be ordered, however, there is no guarantee for signups after 12/14. This race always has great door prizes!
