Wendell Foster 5K - $100 CASH AWARD

Join us for the inaugural Wendell Foster 5K competitive road race! The race will be an official timed event starting at Wendell Foster and traveling around the beautiful streets of downtown Owensboro. Athletes will compete for cash awards and nice age group medals. Runners, walkers and running strollers for people with different abilities are all welcome to compete.

IMPORTANT:

• Volunteers: Please report to the Young Meeting House (next to the start/finish area) BEFORE going to your assigned position. If you are volunteering on the course, please be in place by 7:30am and ready to go by 7:45am. We truly appreciate your help. This event would not be possible without you!
• Racers: Please report to the start/finish line area by 7:30am. Important race announcements begin at 7:35am. Thank you for choosing the Wendell Foster 5K and helping us empower people with disabilities!

• Race Week Registration (May 28th to June 2nd – shirt not guaranteed): $35

CASH: $100 will be given to the overall male and female winners!

A nice medal will be given to the top three in the following age groups for male and female:

• 14 and under • 15-19 • 20-24 • 25-29 • 30-34 • 35-39 • 40-44 • 45-49 • 50-54 • 55-59 • 60-64 • 65-69 • 70-74 • 75+

Running Stroller Division:

We will have top three awards for the Running Stroller Division. The division will consist of individuals with a disability who are pushed in a running stroller.

**Please note: Those being pushed, should register under the "Running Stroller Division." Those that are pushing, should register under "Individual 5K."**
