National Crime Victims' Rights Week 5K

National Crime Victims’ Rights Week is April 8-14, the 5K is to bring awareness to crime victims in Boone County.

 National Crime Victims' Rights Week 5K Race

To celebrate National Crime Victims’ Rights Week (NCVRW), the Boone County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office is hosting a 5K walk/run on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in Stephens Lake Park.

Participation in the event is FREE and the first 300 participants will receive a free t-shirt.

Each year, the Boone County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office joins other communities across the nation in recognizing National Crime Victims’ Rights Week. From April 8-14, 2018, the focus will be on this year’s theme:

* Expand the Circle: Reach All Victims*

This project is supported by a National Crime Victims' Rights Week Community Awareness Project subgrant awarded by the National Association of VOCA Assistance Administrators (NAVAA) under a Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) grant from the Office for Victims of Crime, Office of Justice Programs, U.S. Department of Justice.
