Thank you for your interest in our second annual Kettle Krush 5K and Fun Run on Saturday, April 13th at 8am in Downtown Sanford! At this time online registration is now closed. You may still register for the race on-site during one of the following times:
Friday, April 12th (4:00 PM- 6:00 PM)- 507 North Steele St. Sanford (The Mann Center)- when you arrive look for The Salvation Army event signs directing you to the correct entrance-https://goo.gl/maps/VaezkcvUhaT2 Parking is available on-site.

While the Salvation Army's 2nd Annual Kettle Krush 5K and Fun Run is in a "Different Season" than Christmas, the purpose is for the "Same Reason." 
Through this event, The Salvation Army is raising money and awareness to "krush" poverty and to provide the resources that people need to become self-sufficient and productive members of our community.
What is better than beautiful springtime in Downtown Sanford? Enjoying a fun 5K run/walk that winds through our downtown streets without vehicle traffic! Runners and walkers will start and finish on Wicker St. near Hugger Mugger Brewing Co. Running strollers are welcome, though we ask that you start toward the back of the race. 
Can't make it to the event? Support The Salvation Army of Lee County by registering as a "Virtual Runner".
In addition to the 5K, there will be a short-distance Kids' Fun Run (ages 5-12).
Nothing is better than a race with a great after-party... except a race with a great after-FESTIVAL, Run the Kettle Krush 5K and stay for the Sanford Streetfest starting at Noon. Shop at local stores and bring the entire famiy! This day-long street festival features be food trucks, musical bands, crafts, and activities throughout the day. The fun will conclude with fireworks at dark.

- Kids Fun Run: $10
T-shirts are included with registration only while supplies last, and a very limited quantity are still available. Once a size is sold out, shirts will no longer be available in that size. so register soon!

Race Awards
The top male and female overall 5K winner will receive an award. The top male and female masters (40+) winners in the 5K will receive a trophy. In addition, there will be awards for top male and female per each age division. The Fun Run participants will also receive a small token upon completion of the race.
