The 33rd annual Polar Bear Run is a Peachtree Qualifier road race featuring a flat course in East Cobb County and chip timing through Road Race Timing. The race will be held rain, snow or shine - Don’t miss it!

Safety Measures
Masks will be required when not running, we will require temperature checks and runners will be sent out in waves using chip timing. Check out our website (polarbear-run.com) for a full list of our safety measures.

Please note that if we are not able to run in person due to COVID-19, the entire race will go virtual.

Registration Fees - No race day registration
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, registration is limited
5K - $30 through Wednesday, January 20
- $35 late registration, through Friday, January 29.
Cub Events - $25 (ages 2-5 only)
Virtual Racer - $35 (Run on your favorite course and send us your time and a photo! Use the IYR Virtual app - link is on the right side of this page!)

Registration
Register online (ItsYourRace.com), by mail (entries must be received by Tuesday, January 26) or in person. Walk-in registration available at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church and Big Peach Running Co. (Marietta, Johnson Ferry Rd).

Race Number and Packet Pick-up
Early Race numbers and packets may be picked up at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church on Friday, January 29 from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Packet pick up is also available on January 30(race day) at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church from 6:30-7:45 a.m. Race packets may be picked up by a third party only with copy of the participating individual’s ID. No shirts can be guaranteed after the race.

Results and Awards
5K Awards will be presented to overall male and female winner: masters male and female winners and top three male and female finishers in 16 age categories from 10 & under to 80 and over. Ribbons will be awarded to Cub Run and Cub Dash participants. Team award, Polar Bear Pack, for largest registering team! Virtual runners are not eligible for awards.
