The Bavarian Blast 5K and 10K Run/Walk will take place July 15, 2017 in conjunction with with New Ulm's premier summer music festival.
The Bavarian Blast festival takes place July 14-17, 2017. Registration for the Bavarian Blast Run/Walk includes a FREE one-day admission voucher to the festival in your race registration packet. Learn more about the Bavarian Blast at www.bavarianblast.com.
The Bavarian Blast Run/Walk will start and finish at the New Ulm Civic Center located on the Brown County Fairgrounds, home of the Bavarian Blast.
Course(s)
The 5K course is on the street in a treelined residential neighborhood. The course has very little elevation change making it an ideal course to set your personal best time.
The 10K starts similarly to the 5K prior to an ascent to the western edge of the city and eventual descent back to the same residential neighborhood for the race conclusion.

Team participation involves additional prize opportunities, organization/business recognition, and unique color race shirt to distinguish your group.
Register by July 4th to guarantee T-shirt of your chosen size. After July 4th, Sizes will still be collected but cannot be fully guaranteed. Shirts will also be available for same day registrants - while supplies last!

Timing & Results
The Bavarian Blast will be Chip Timed by Race Place Chip Timing. Results will be updated live throughout the race and can be viewed immediately after crossing the finish line on tablet kiosks and a scrolling results screen.

The Race Organizers reserve the right to cancel this event at any time due to inclement weather and/or safety concerns. In any instance the event WILL NOT BE RESCHEDULED.
Substitutions may be considered upon request. No Refunds.
