Jefferson County Parks Foundation is proud to host the inaugural The Jefferson County Big River Run 10 Mile, 5K, and 1 Mile fun run at the Northwest Sports Complex in House Springs, MO. The course offers runners a flat and fast race with scenery through the Big River bottoms, horse ranches, and beautiful countryside. Check out the video of the 2014 event.
The 10 Mile and 5K begin at 8:00 am and the 1 mile fun run starts at 10:30 am. Runners will have the opportunity to meet Olympian Sarah Haskins
who will be speaking and running with the kids that day, as well as signing autographs. All registered 1 Mile kids will receive a race medal (instead of a shirt.)

Awards
There will be 3 awards given per age group and 3 overall awards for the fastest male and female participants. Age groups are 19 and younger, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55+. The top male and female in each race will also receive a $100 gift certificate to Deer Creek Golf. The top male and female in each age group will receive a gift certificate for free 1-hour massage from 'n Touch with You Massage (a $40 value).
Also, a finishers medal is being given to 10 mile runners.
Fun Run medals will be given to all registered participants.
More Information
Softstyle T-shirts (Sizes are S/M/L/XL/2XL) will be provided to runners.
There will be attendance prizes, food and drinks, a live band, and the national anthem will be sung by Rick Weideman.
