This event has been called off!
This race came about because of the
desire for
positive things to be seen in our
Bellport community.
There are many negative images and
activities highlighted in this community
but we
wanted to showcase the fact our residents
can
have fun on their own street. We thought
it
would be a great idea to have some
activities
on the streets of Bellport that would get
the
people from the community out and doing
things. The community that plays together
can
be safe together. This is our 2nd annual
"Run
or Walk It Out" event, we were so
pleased
with the results of last year and we hope
this
event gets bigger and better every year.

Rain Date—September 27th
9:00 am Registration Starts
10:00 am Family Fun Walk Starts
10:15 am 5k Starts
12:00 pm BBQ & Day for Kids
Where:
Register and start at Robert Rowley Park
Ends at the Boys & Girls Club of the
Bellport
Area (471 Atlantic Avenue)
Prizes:
Trophies will be awarded to the top male
and female 5k finishers in the following
age
groups: 9 and under, 10-12, 13-15, 16-19,
20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over.
Each family participating in the Family
Fun
Walk will be entered into a raffle.
