My son, John Carlton is only 8 years old. He has been diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis. Recently, he has been hospitalized twice and he became upset, questioning why he was born this way. It was then, that The Lord impressed it on my heart that we could raise money to help find a cure for this disease.
CF is passed down through families and causes thick, sticky mucus to build up in the lungs, digestive tract, and other areas of the body. It is one of the most common chronic lung diseases in children and young adults. It is a life-threatening disorder.
Despite the condition, John is very energetic and compassionate! He loves the outdoors; fishing, hunting, riding a 4 wheeler, and loves the beach. His most favorite animal are turtles!
Our goal is to let him and thousands of other children know that we are here to help them cope with this affliction.
