Come out and support the Junior Livestock Show by participating in this 5K Run-Walk event. This Run-Walk will take place at the Richard M. Borchard Robstown Fairgrounds. The Run-Walk will be on a closed course. After the run-walk we will have a 100 meter “boot skoot” for guys and gals. To participate in the boot skoot you must be wearing real cowboy / cowgirl boots.

Location: Richard M. Borchard Regional Fairgrounds in Robstown, Texas 78380. Race will Start and Finish inside the Equestrian Center. Your family and friends are welcome to stay inside the covered area of the Center.

Children 3 and Under: Children 3 years of age or younger do not have to register for the event if they are participating with a responsible Adult age 18 year or over. Families are encouraged to participate in the Walk. Strollers are welcomed if seeded in the back of the pack. Sorry but for safety reasons, no pets are allowed on the course.

Blazin' Boot 5K Run - Overall Male and Female, Masters (40 to 59) Male and Female and Grand Masters (60+) Male and Female plus 1st / 2nd / 3rd Male and Female Age Group Awards.
Blazin' Boot 5K Walk - First three Male and First three Female Walkers receive an award. No Age Group Awards for Walkers.
All 5K Finishers receive a Bandana at the Finish Line!

(40 to 49), (50 to 59), (60 to 69) and (70 plus).
Packet Pickup: Friday, January 9, 2015 from 11am to 6pm at the Richard M. Borchard Regional Fairgrounds in Robstown, Texas 78380. The Fairgrounds are located at 1213 Terry Shamsie Blvd along Hwy 77. Packet Pickup will be held in Exhibit Hall A or B. Please look for the signs.
Shirt: Participants who register by 12Noon on Monday, December 29 will are guaranteed a shirt. Participants who register after 12 Noon on Monday, December 29 MAY receive a shirt.

Timing: Pendgo Timing will time the 5K Run-Walk using the most state of the art equipment. Pendgo Timing uses a disposable bib chip that is attached to your race bib. You will not be asked to stand in line the morning of the event waiting for someone to hand you a chip. You will also never be chased down after a race by someone trying to cut-off your chip. Pendgo Timing is a local company that hires local people who live and work in your community.
