Ray of Sunshine 5K
Honoring those who serve
Service is one of our core values here at St. Leonard. We believe that every smile, kind word, good deed and act of service have the power to enrich and change lives. We have named our 5K the “Ray of Sunshine 5K” in honor and memory of St. Leonard resident, Ray Olfky, a man that enriched many lives with each of these qualities along with his passion for running.
Race info:
- The start/finish lines are located in front of The Franciscan Center.
- You'll feel supported on the scenic course, as St. Leonard residents cheer you on!
- The race is child and pet friendly.
- Athletic Trainers & First Aid provided
- Water stations
- Free kids run and participation ribbons!
- Healthy snack following the run
Registration and Packet Pickup:
Registration/Check-In begins at 7:30 a.m. Prior to the race start at 8:30am, we will have a ceremony to honor our veterans.
- $25 single entry
- $75 family entry (up to four people age 13+)
- Kids 12 & under FREE (no t-shirt)
- Registered by August 23, includes t-shirt & breakfast
- Registered after Augus 23, t-shirt not guaranteed
Parking:
Parking is plentiful at St. Leonard.
Post race:
Please join residents and participants at the post race breakfast. You can chose from pancakes or a healthier lifestyle breakfast.
Results:
Results are updated as your finish and can be accessed on the Key Sports website or via the ITS YOUR RACE app.
Awards:
- An awards ceremony will occur at 10am.
- Overall top three male/females
- Gold, silver, and bronze awarded to top three male/female three individuals per age group
- 12 and under, 13-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85+

On race day, we will be following the guidance currently recommended from the State of Ohio.
