Presents the 18
th Annual
Long Island Sound to Peconic Bay 10K & 5K RUN
Sunday, August 28rd, 2016 9:00 AM (rain or shine)
USATF Certified Course
Cost: $25 – Pre-Registration; (postmarked by Aug 15) $30 – Race Day Registration (T-shirts while supplies last).
Registration: You must park and register at the finish line at Town Beach Road and Peconic Bay Boulevard, between 7:00-
8:30 AM.
Runners for the 10K will be bussed to the starting area at Iron Pier Beach on Long Island Sound.
The 5K runners
will start and finish at the Jamesport Town Beach.
Race entry includes: T-shirt (guaranteed to pre-registrants), post-race raffle & award ceremony, use of beautiful South
Jamesport Beach for the day, water stops every mile, food & refreshments, and medical aid.
Awards: Awards to top male and female runners and top 3 in each category, male and female: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29,
30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+. Also awards to the top 3 Fire Department, Peace/Police Officer and EMS finishers.
Directions: LIE east to last exit-73, east on Rt. 58, which turns into Rt. 25, make right at South Jamesport Ave. (at traffic
light in hamlet of Jamesport), continue south to stop sign and make a left onto Peconic Bay Blvd., then follow signs to parking
at the Jamesport Beach Town Boat Ramp Facility. Additional parking on St. Mary’s Drive.

No Strollers or Baby Joggers: For the safety of all participants, strollers, baby joggers, bicycles, roller blades/skates,
