Costume Contest
Date: Saturday, May 2, 2015
Time: 8:00am for 1K, 8:15am (estimated) for the 5K / 2M
Location: Heritage Park, 1581 N. Chaparral St, Corpus Christi, TX 78401
Event Start: The 5K and 2M will be started in Waves. Each Wave will consist of 60 to 80 participants. For the 5K, your time does not start until you cross the Start Line and ends when you cross the Finish Line. For the 2M, you will not be timed so you will Start in the last Wave. Waves will start every 60 seconds. All results will be based on Chip Time. USATF Rule 254 will be suspended for this event.
Costume Contest: 8:00am to 9:00am with judging at 9:30am
Raffle: Amazing prizes will be raffled. You must be a finisher in the event to be included in the raffle. You also must be present during the raffle drawing to Win.

Packet Pickup:
Thursday, April 30, 2015 from 12 Noon to 4pm at CASA. CASA is located at 2602 Prescot, Corpus Christi, TX 78403. CASA is located between Baldwin and Morgan off the Crosstown Expressway.
Friday, May 1, 2015 from 9am to 2pm at CASA.
Timing:
Pendgo Timing will time the 5K Run-Walk using the most state of the art equipment. Pendgo Timing uses a patented disposable foam covered "chip" that is attached to your race bib. You will not be asked to stand in a long line the morning of the event waiting for someone to hand you a chip. You will also never be chased down after the race by someone trying to cut-off your shoe chip. Pendgo Timing is a local company that hires local people who live and work in your community.

Improving the lives of abused and neglected children through court-appointed volunteers advocating for services and placement in safe and permanent homes.
Proceeds:
Proceeds from each 5K event will benefit the local CASA program in their efforts to recruit and train CASA volunteers to give a "voice" to abused and neglected children in court and the foster care system.
