5K Run/Walk through San Ramon
Start the holiday season off with a healthy fun run or walk through San Ramon. Participants will receive a custom holiday long sleeved t-shirt and back by popular demand, the return of the famoun Bah Humbug onmament! This year's Bah Humbug! will be a chip timed race
Fees ~
Individual $35 postmarked or registered online by Saturday, November 29th. Registration fees increase to $40 starting Novermber 30th through race day. Pre-registration family rate of 3 or more is $30. per person prior to November 30th. Must be immediate family only, and all entry forms must be submitted at the same time. Family discounts are not available on race day. Race day registration tables open 7:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. Late or incomplete entries will not be accepted.
Costume Contest ~
Make sure to come dressed in costume and in the spirit on the run. Costume awards will be given for most Grinch-Like, Best Holiday Spirit and Best Group Theme.
Spread the Holiday Cheer ~
Runners are requested to bring a can of food to be donated to the Contra Costa County Food Bank to assist those in need during the holidays. Canned food donations will be collected at the check-in/registration tables.
Awards ~
Medals are given to the first three finishers in each age division. The Mayor's Crown, which will aaward the lowest combind times of the 2015 Bah Humbug and the 2016 Run San Ramon pre-registered 5K runner. The Mayor's Crown winner will be recongized at the 2016 Run San Ramon.
Packet Pick-Up~
All pre-registered participants may receive their shirt prior to the event at packet pick-up hosted by Sport's Authority in San Ramon (3161 Crow Canyon Place, San Ramon, CA 94583), Thursday, December 3th from 11:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. All race day registrants and pre-registrants who wait to pick up will receive their shirts upon completion of the race on a "first come-first served" basis. Shirts are only guaranteed to pre-registered participants at the packet pick-up. Ornaments are given out at the completion of the run.
