Wounded Warriors 5K Run/Walk

The Wounded Warriors 5K Run is part of the Not Forgotten Memorial Day Weekend Celebrations. For additional information and schedule of events, please visit www.thememorialweekend.com. The purpose of this event is to honor all who have served our country in the military, to remember our fallen heroes and their families, regardless of political or religious views, race, or gender. To raise awareness in our community and remind our citizens that freedom is not free.

Course~
Runs through and around the beautiful Woodward Park with multiple aid stations along the course.

Entry Fees~
Individual $35 until May 13th., $45 thereafter Fees include a FREE omelet breakfast after the race provided by NuLaid Eggs.

Awards~
Top three male and female winners in age groups 13 & under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 to 70 & Over

Race Day Schedule~
6:30 a.m. - Check-in and race day registration opens
8:00 a.m. - 5K Run Start

Many other events will take place such as:
• Marine Cpl.Charles O.Palmer II Fallen Hero – Classic Car Show
• Children’s Energy Zone
• Various exhibits and ceremony’s throughout the day
• Patriot Riders escort for all Gold Star Families
• Viet Nam era helicopter landing
• Army Chinook helicopter landing
