Miles For Smiles 5K Run & 1.5 Mile Fun Walk

Race organizers have decided to cancel the race for 2017. Registered participants will be issued refunds.

Please join us for the 2nd Annual Miles for Smiles 5K Run and 1.5 Mile Fun Walk on Sunday, May 21, 2017 in Westfield, NY to benefit the The Union Relief. Since 1880, the mission of this organization is to provide temporary relief to those in distress & cooperate with the welfare of the Westfield Community. The race is being organized by Ms. Kimberly Alonge and her Westfield Academy & Central School Sports & Entertainment Management class.

START / FINISH
Both the 5K Run & 1.5 Mile Fun Walk will start and finish at the Westfield Fire Department and runs through the historic Village of Westfield.

REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUP
Online registration will remain open right up until the start of the race. Race day registration and packet pickup will take place in front of the fire hall from 11:30 am right up until the start of the race at 1:00 pm.

NOTE: Race Day registration and packet pickup will take place race or shine at the fire hall!

POST RACE CELEBRATION
Join us after the race for a post race celebration including food, snacks, refreshments, gift basket raffles, music and awards ceremony!

PARKING

There will be plenty of free parking at the Westfield Moose Club on Clinton Street across from the Fire Hall. Look for volunteers that will help direct you to free parking.

AGE GROUPS & AWARDS

Medals will be presented to the 1st place overall 5K male and female finishers and awards will be presented to the top 3 male and female 5K runners in each of the following age groups:

10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and older.

TIMING & FINISH LINE SERVICES

Gun start/chip finish timing services using industry leading Jaguar Electronic RFID timing will be provided by Race Management Solutions. Results are updated throughout the race in real time and can be accessed at any time after crossing the finish line using any one of the following options:
