Mad Dash Race

Rhinebeck, NY

Join hundreds of runners and walkers at the MAD DASH race on Labor Day, Monday, September 5, 2016 in charming Rhinebeck, NY to support communities in need.

The race, an annual event, founded in 1988 is sponsored by the Church of the Messiah with 100% of the net proceeds benefiting local and global communities in need!  There are 5k and 10k races, and a 5k walk over rolling hills and beautiful scenery on a paved road. There are also mini-dashes for the kids.

After 25+ successful years, the MAD DASH has become a Labor Day tradition in Rhinebeck.

Net proceeds from the Mad Dash have helped fund many outreach programs such as The Jayne Brooks Memorial Food Pantry, multiple homeless shelters, Community Coalition for Rhinebeck Youth, Dutchess County SPCA and others.   The priority is always to fund local programming, but global programs that are very focused and grassroots based are also considered.

This year's race will be timed by 2L Race Services using the cutting edge Jaguar RFID timing system.

Last year, the MAD DASH RACE hosted over 500 runners/walkers and raised over $12K!  For more information, check out our website at www.maddashrace.org.

The 5K RUN AND WALK start at 8:30AM and the 10K RUN starts at 9:15AM. Mini-Dashes are at 9:45AM.
