About this Event
The Mr. Polidore Dandelion 5K Run &Walk will take place on Sunday June 10th, 2018. The run is a celebration of the life of Mr. Stephen Polidore, longtime teacher at Tanglewood Elementary school. All proceeds from the event will go towards a scholarship for a graduating senior who represents the qualities Mr. Polidore embodied during his teaching career as well as the Tanglewood Home School Association. This is a fast and flat course for a new personal record or just for a great walk to honor a great teacher and friend.
Start/Finish
The Race will start and finish at the Tangelwood Elementary School in South Glens Falls.

Registration and Packet Pickup
Online registration will remain open until June 7th at Midnight. There will be packet pick up and late registration on Friday June 8th from 5-7 pm in the Tanglewood Elementary front lobby. Day of race registration and packet pick up will be in the Tanglewood Elementary front lobby from 7:30 to 8:30. Please arrive early to get your packet and avoid the crowd.

Race Schedules:
The Kids fun run will take off at 9:00 AM. This is a .5 mile fun run with some fun obstacles. This is a fun run and not a race event. Bring the kids out and have some fun.
The 5 K run will start at 9:30 AM
Age Group & Awards
There will be awards given out for the top Male and Female racer as well as a special award for the first finisher under age 12 on race day. Age group winners will be recognized on the Underdog timing web site as well as on facebook. Age groups: 1-10, 11-14, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+
Parking
All racers and spectators are asked to park in the South Glens Falls High School parking lot. This is a short walk from the Tanglewood School.
