Clumber Park Novice Triathlon

Online entries are now closed however you can enter on the day. Please arrive at registration between 6.30 and 7.15am. Payment by cash only £30 plus £3 if you are not a member of Triathlon England. The Clumber Park Novice triathlon is aimed at those who are new to the sport or those who have completed pool events but have not yet ventured into open water. For those triathletes who are not novices but would still like to join in there is now a wave just for you!

Set in beautiful grade 1 listed parkland Bassetlaw Triathlon Club is very proud and excited to be able to offer this event in collaboration with the National Trust via the Sports Development Project.

This is a sprint distance event with a 21k bike and a 5k run, however, because going from a pool event with a 400m swim to an open water with a 750m swim might be too big a step for some people, we are offering both distances as an option.

Whilst off limits due to wildlife restrictions most of the year, we are extremely excited about having been granted permission for this one off event. The water testing results show the lake meets the standards for excellent bathing water quality, and test swims have been very enjoyable as the water is crystal clear.
