Friends of Snyder Park present: 2016 Running of the Geese!
This 5K / 10K event is available to participants running, walking, families pushing strollers, wheelchair, wagons, etc.

Friends of Snyder Park was privileged to partner with community agencies and individuals to create Bethie's Sprayground, a water feature for families to enjoy during sunny summer days! The Sprayground is part of Speedway Children's Park located within Snyder Park of Springfield, Ohio.
August 2015 was the first opening of the Sprayground and the warm weather of Spring 2016 has welcomed families back to the Sprayground once more!
In an effort to sustain the Sprayground through inevitable repairs that will be necessary in the future, proceeds from the 2016 Running of the Geese will assist with the efforts to prepare for these repairs.
The 2016 Running of the Geese is another opportunity for community residents to enjoy Snyder Park by participating as a runner or by walking the 5K or 10K course.
Families are invited to participate together. Runners, walkers, those pushing strollers, pulling wagons, etc., are all welcome!
Please note that a Paid Early Registration will include a shirt and the ability to have the race timed for one (1) person.
Event Sponsors will have decorated geese near at the course start and finish line. Cast your vote for your favorite Sponsor goose and enjoy other goose related fun!
