Please join us on Saturday August 6, 2016 for the Town of Lancaster 5k Run/Walk. The event features a brand new USATF sanctioned and certified 3.1 mile route on which we welcome both runners and walkers.

The race will start and finish on the corner of Pleasant Ave and Central Street in front of Rite Aid. Water will be available on the race course and at the finish line.

REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUP
Online registration will remain open right up until the start of the race. Race day registration and packet pickup will take place at the Town Hall from 8:00am right up until the start of the race at 9:30am.

All runners who register by July 30, 2016 will be guaranteed to receive an official race shirt. Extra shirts (if any) will be distributed on a first come-first serve basis until they are gone.

POST RACE CELEBRATION
Join us after the race for the post race celebration and awards ceremony. The race is being held in conjunction with the Taste of Lancaster and all participants are invited to visit the food vendors and the beer tent if they so choose. Fruit, yogurt and water will be provided to runners after the race.
PARKING
There will be plenty of free parking within walking distance of the start/finish line.
AGE GROUPS & AWARDS
Awards will be presented to the 1st place overall male and female finishers along with the top three male and female 5K runner in each of the following age groups:
14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and older.

TIMING & FINISH LINE SERVICES
Gun start/chip finish timing services using industry leading Jaguar Electronic RFID timing will be provided by Race Management Solutions. Results are updated throughout the race in real time and can be accessed at any time after crossing the finish line using any one of the following options:
