Crown Beach Swim Race: July 30, 2016
We're excited to announce the Crown Beach Swim Race! The event will take place on July 30, 2016 at the beautiful Crown Memorial Beach in Alameda, California. It is open to swimmers of all ability levels. It's a great event for new open water swimmers, those training for big events, or those who want to test themselves in exciting race conditions.
There will be three distance options available:
- .5 miles
- 1.2 miles
- 2.4 miles
All participants will receive:
- finisher medal (top finishers will receive special medals)
- event t-shirt
- event swim cap
- official race time
- full event results
Tentative schedule:
- 8:30 - 9 am check-in
- 10 am swim start
- 12 pm awards
