Rules:

  • When pre-riding, share the trail!  Be courteous to everyone... do you want this event to come back next year?  Then be nice and respectful.
  • Mandatory pre-ride for Stages 1 and 3.  This is a very technical race and this is for your own safety and for others as well.
  • When racing, please be safe and race within your limits.  We are racing in areas with difficult access for emergency medical egress.  We will have medical personnel placed all throughout each stages and plan to be able to give onsite medical attention within 10 minutes.
  • Smile for the camera!  This is hardcore, one-of-a-kind.  We are stoked to share our home trails with you!

  • First off, we do not control weather, so it is beyond our means to ensure you are guaranteed a perfect condition day of racing.  Our priority is to maintain our trail health, keep your bike healthy, AND ensure your safety and experience.
  • Close coordination with BLM regarding event day changes based on unfavorable trail conditions may be required.  Evaluation and escalation will be used as follows:
    • Delay start time max 2 hours (latest time person on course = 5:45pm).
    • Modify timed stages (do Gunny loop 2 times, or do Gunny and Max Gnar only, etc - final decision made prior start of event).
    • Inclement weather / horrendous trail conditions all around: postpone to 06/10/2017 - 06/11/2017.
    • 06/10/2017 weekend still proves unfavorable? Cancel!
      • We must protect our trails and YOU!  Some of the trails consist soils mixed with Bentonite.  This will make your travel experience horrendous and destroy trails if too wet.
  • Refunds?  Sorry, no refunds - we invest a lot in this event with our own time and money.  Please plan your weekend and postponed date around this!
    • We will gladly transfer your entry to another participant for a $20 fee.
