The Brainerd Jaycees believe that service to humanity is the best work of life. Who has served us better than the veterans of our great nation? We want to show our appreciation by connecting and uniting veterans of all branches, while raising awareness of the sad truth of homelessness among those who have served our country.
Join us on Saturday December 7th, 2019 for the 4th Annual Homeless Heroes 5k and One-mile Dedication run/walk, with proceeds to benefit Homeless and Wounded Warriors MN. The community is also welcome to participate in our digital Hero’s in our Hearts campaign showcasing the men and women in uniform we call loved ones.
The 5k Run/walk will be timed by Karma Race Management.
5k run/walk and 1 Mile Dedication walk begins and ends at Central Lakes College in Brainerd MN.
A Virtual Run/Walk is another option to support the event! The Virtual 5k can be run from any location or state on your time. If you are not able to participate in our event on December 7th but still want to support the cause consider this option. Your run swag(shirt and bib) will be mailed out prior to race week if you have registered by Saturday December 1st at 11:59 pm.
