The QuintilesIMS Wrightsville Beach Marathon Madness weekend is one of the largest running events in Southeastern NC. Over 3500 runners will take the streets of the destination city of Wilmington/Wrightsville Beach.
The race includes a
FULL marathon,
HALF marathon,
marathon RELAY, 5K and 1 mile.
The "Marathon Madness" these entails college themed aid stations, NCAA games on at the expo, bracket contests and a fun post party on the University of North Carolina at Wilmington campus. Start at the beach, run through the beauty of Wrightsville Beach and Wilmington and end in the heart of campus down Chancellor's walk.
