On Sunday, January 22nd, 2017 participate in the Downtown 5k or Country Side 10k to help us support preserving the historic buildings in our community.
The Downtown 5k will be a gun start at 7:30am by the old court house. This course winds through down town ending at the edge of town at the old rail station.
The Countryside 10k will be a gun start at 7:40am also by the old court house. This race winds through the edge of town also ending at the old rail station.
Down Town 5k $35, after 1/21 the cost increases to $45
Country Side 10K $45, after 1/21 the cost increases to $55
Register before 1/15/17 to ensure that we will have your shirt size available at packet-pickup. (small, medium, large, XL, XXL)
Packet pickup will be on Sunday January 17th and 18th at the old mill from 3pm- 9pm & on race morning near the entrance of the old courthouse. When you arrive, locate your line based on your last name. There will be 3 lines A-H, I-P and Q-Z. Please be prepared and have your ID ready for our volunteers.
You can register the morning of the 19th at the race from 6:00am to 7:30am.
Awards Ceremony will begin at 10:00am
You must be present to win. 5k and 10k awards will be given out to the top 3 male and top 3 female finishers overall, masters 50+, grand masters 65+, and age groups. You can only win one award. For example, someone who wins the overall will not also win their age group.
Age groups: 1-5, 6-9,10-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69,74+
