5K walk/run, all participants will receive a custom T-shirt and finishers medal. Water, snacks, timing, bibs, are provided.
Active Heroes’ mission is to support all U.S. military service members, veterans and their families through physical, educational, and emotional programs in an effort to eliminate suicide. Join us for this 5K supporting this mission. Adult and youth participants will receive an Active Heroes T-shirt and custom finishers medal.

Course description:
We will start at Shelter 1 in LeRoy Oakes Forest Preserve and follow the beautiful winding trail throughout the Forest Preserve.

Start and finish line are near Shelter 1 at LeRoy Oakes Forest Preserve.
Parking:
Plenty of free parking at the forest preserve.
Awards info:
All adult and youth participants will receive a custom Active Heroes’s finisher’s medal. Overal 1st, 2nd and 3rd place male and female will receive a winner’s medal. 1st place male and female will be recognized within 5 year age catagories.
