London Jazz and Rib Fest introduces the first annual SUPERHERO 5K RUN, WALK & ROLL! The race starts at Cowling Park and ends in the heart of the festival!
Be a superhero for a day at our fun run, walk and roll event, and your registration fee will make you a superhero to the kids of our community! ALL proceeds will go toward Access Cowling, an effort to build a fabulous new and inclusive playground in Cowling Park! The race begins in Cowling Park where you will see firsthand the Access Cowling vision. All kids 10 and under will get a superhero cape and mask and everyone else gets a free race tee!
Meet your favorite Superheroes! As you run, walk or roll through London's scenic downtown streets, you will be cheered on by Spider Man, Wonder Woman, Captain America, and more! The race finishes in the heart of the London Rib & Jazz Festival, just in time for lunch. Live music begins at noon! (Adult superheroes can re-hydrate with a cold brew!)
Lots of kids' activities will be taking place between 12pm and 4pm at the Jazz Fest. A live penguin will be on display! Meet London's true heroes, our first responders, and get an up close look at their police cars and emergency vehicles! Free caricature drawings, face painting, cotton candy and balloon animals will be offered all afternoon!
