Greetings!

We hope this letter finds you well and that you and yours are healthy, safe and happy. We are SO excited that our Annual Gobble Wobble Run is a GO for 2023! We cannot wait to see you in-person on Thanksgiving morning.

Last year, we distributed over 237,000 items (diapers, wipes, formula, clothes and hygiene) and served over 5000 moms, dads and their children in our community. We could not do what we do without the support of you: our community, our incredible donors, supporters and partners but…we truly need your help saving babies now more than ever.

WHERE DO YOUR DONOR DOLLARS GO?

When you donate to Chicks in Crisis, you are directly helping our young teen moms and dads become capable parents by:

• Ensuring babies stay fed, healthy and dry
• Providing diapers, wipes, formula, clothing, hygiene and other essential items
• Keeping parent in shool so they graduate and become responsible and able to support themselves
• Making sure young moms receive assistance pre and post pregnancy
• Ensuring parents receive necessary life skills training and education

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

All money raised helps us keep our doors open for our mothers and fathers in need and all donations are tax deductible: Tax ID #94-3371317. Anything and everything helps.  It is through the assistance from businesses such as yours that we are able to make a positive difference in the lives of these parents and their babies.

WHO ARE WE?

Chicks in Crisis is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization with a mission to provide love, home and family for every child. Our main goal is to reduce the number of babies and children entering foster care by teaching responsible parenting skills and our focus is to help teen parents find hope and strength to better themselves and therefore become capable parents who can function in society without the assistance of government programs. We work with pregnant and parenting teens, women and dads ages 11-25 to ensure they stay in school, maintain family size and continue on to secondary education/trade or vocational schooling. We provide our clients with a variety of parenting classes and life skills and as long as they stay in school and maintain family size, we will provide FREE diapers, wipes, formula, clothing and more – every 30 days.  On average, Chicks in Crisis assists 400 household members and provides 16,000 items (diapers, wipes, formula, clothing, etc) every month. Last year, we had 57 graduates and we are SO proud of everything they’ve accomplished.
