The Goal of this event is to raise enough money to cover medical expenses that are way beyond our means right now, such as co-pays for surgeries and formula for his feeding tube (not covered by insurance) and to continue treatment at the Cincinnati Children's Hospital Bone Marrow Failure Clinic,Boston Children's,our local Hematologist and other specialist as well as travel to New York for another specialist in 2019
Pre Race Packet Pick Up has been scheduled at the Baseline Trailhead pavilion 4255 SE 58th Ave, Ocala FL FRIDAY MARCH 29th 2019 from 12 noon until 6 pm. Please make every effort to attend and avoid long lines on race day. Large numbers of race day entries are expected.

Second Annual Heston's Heroes 10K / 5K
We will be doing this event in honor of our son every year !! A BRAVE young man who has had a time of it in his short 8 years of life but wakes every morning with a smile on his face, a song in his heart, and the goal of each day to make it his best day ever !!

Overall Awards to the Top Male and Female winners.
Age Group Awards are THREE DEEP M/F in the following: 9 and Under, 10 - 14, 15 - 19, 20 - 29, 30 - 39, 40 - 49, 50 - 59, 60 -69, 70 and Over.
PLEASE NOTE FOR 10K Age divisions will be every 10 years ..
ALL VIRTUAL participants will receive a cape and finisher medal
FUN RUN Participants will receive a goodie bag at the finish line.

Put on your best Super Hero Get Up and your running shoes and come join us for a day of fun and great memories !! We were going to attempt a cape wearing World Record ( world record stands at 2,265 ) but lets let Heston see the most capes he has ever seen in one spot to start ... can you imagine the look on an 8 year old boys face to see a SEA of SUPER HEROES all wearing HESTON'S HEROES CAPES !!
