Join the Luke Jones Foundation for the 7th Annual Luke Jones Front Line 5K!  This 5K event will be held on January 27, 2024 at Foothills Recreation Center in Glendale.

Luke's Legacy, The Luke Jones Foundation will use event proceeds to support its mission, which is to provide assistance to public safety and first responder families in times of tragedy and difficulty, tuition assistance for EMS and paramedic courses, and adoption assistance for families struggling to fund their adoption journeys. 

Luke's Legacy mission is to make it a little easier for families to cope when tragedy strikes, create beautiful families and advance awareness in the firefighting profession.

Race Day Information

  • Race Day Check In and Registration will be available beginning at 7:30am at Foothills Park.

    We accept cash, check, and credit card on race day.  Race day price is $45.

    • All shirts sizes may not be available on race day (please register online before race day to guarantee your shirt size choice).

  • Wheelchair, stroller, and leashed pet friendly event.

    • All wheelchairs, stollers, and leashed pets must start at the back of the start line coral.

      • All participants are chipped time, so your time will not be affected by starting at the back of the coral.  Your  time will not start until you cross the start line.

  • The course will take you along the dedicated running trails of the Skunk Creek Trail (all asphalt and concrete).  Please note - this is an open use trail system and does not close for our event.

  • Due to the common start/finish line there will be no bag check for this event.

Event Schedule

  • January 26 3:00PM - Packet Pick-Up at Tortiosie & Hare Sports from 3:00 - 6:00pm

  • January 27 7:30AM - Race Day Registration & Packet Pick-up Begins

  • January 27 8:30AM - 5K Run/Walk Begins

  • January 27 9:30AM - Awards Ceremony Begins (approx)
