After a very successful inaugural run, the SCFB Young Leaders are pleased to announce the 2nd Annual Farm-to-Farm 5K/10K Run on Saturday April 7, 2018 at Kent Farms near Winslow. Last year's event raised over $4500 for Ag-in-the-Classroom programs in Stephenson County, and this year's event has added a 10K run, electronic timing, and more post-race goodies!

Schedule:

- 7:30 a.m.-Registration begins
- 9:00 a.m.-Start time for 5K/10K

Course:

The out-and-back course starts and end sat Kent Farms,running south on a gently rolling paved route down Christian Hollow Road to the turn-arounds.The course will feature farm equipment displays, diverse farm steads,scenic country landscape,and informative signage highlighting Stephenson County agriculture lining the route.Runners and walkers will love the route

Awards:

All finishers will receive a finisher’s medal, and age group winners (male and female, 5K and 10K) will receive $10 gift cards. The overall male and female winners will receive a farm-themed award.Age groups are 13 & under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70-plus.The post-race celebration includes our famous “Breakfast Sausage on a Stick”, fresh fruit skewers, cookies, fruit, muffins, cold water and chocolate milk, with a petting zoo and kids’ activities.
