The Epilepsy Foundation of Utah proudly presents Seize the Night – 5K Walk/Run. Come lace up your shoes, crack open your glow sticks, throw on some face paint, and get ready for an electrifying 5K Walk/Run! It will be a unique and enlightening night time event, aimed at raising epilepsy awareness in Utah and celebrating those with epilepsy and their strength to keep running forward, no matter the obstacles. As you cross the finish line, enjoy a fresh slice of pizza and be ready to light up the dance floor!

In the United States, 1 out of every 26 people will develop epilepsy at some point in their life. 65 million people worldwide have epilepsy. Seize the Night 5K Walk/Run is a fundraiser that supports the Epilepsy Foundation of Utah’s programs. The Epilepsy Foundation of Utah has trained over 13,000 about epilepsy and continues to raise awareness across the state. Some other services are: ongoing assisting for families and people with epilepsy; weekly support groups; yearly art therapy sessions; Kids Crew; local and national advocacy; and continued outreach statewide. These programs benefit people in Utah who are impacted by epilepsy.
