Your Western Illinois University Alumni Association is pleased to announce the following exciting changes to the 2018 Homecoming Old Stompin' Ground Runaround 5K Run and 1.5 Mile Walk on Sept. 29!
This year's race will include chip timing technology with live results streamed online and displayed near the finish line. Finisher photos will also be available. All participants will receive a commemorative Old Stompin' Ground Runaround moisture wicking/dry fit t-shirt. Come home and run/walk with us down memory lane!
With chip timing, each participant's race time starts when crossing the start line. Awards will be given to overall male and female winners, and in male and female age divisions. Race begins at 8 a.m. at the Alumni House.
Age divisions: 15 & under, 16-22, 23-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60 and over.
Registration on or before Friday, Sept. 28 for the Old Stompin' Ground Runaround is $15/person and includes a dry fit t-shirt. <span data-offset-key="a3miu-0-0" style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; font-style: inherit; font-variant: inherit; font-weight: inherit; font-stretch: inherit; font-size: inherit; line-height: inherit; font-family: inherit; vertical-align: baseline;">If you register the day of the race, the entry fee is $20/person and a shirts will be available as supplies last.
