Bellalago Community presents the 2019 Love Run 5K Run / Walk supporting the work of BEYOND TYPE 1 (diabetes). Beyond Type 1 bridges the gap between diagnosis of diabetes to cure by empowering people to live well today and funding a better tomorrow.
In addition to the 5K run / walk, we will also have bounce houses and wellness booths
Custom Race T shirts to the FIRST 100 registrations.
Start and finish is located at the corner of Lago Vista Ct and Bellalago Dr. The kids race will be located in the boat lift / launch. There will be an 8 am warm up prior to the race start
The CERTIFIED course is flat and fast and the race will be chip timed. Bibs must be worn on your chest to be scored properly. Results are live online, by text message, by paper at the race, by Jaguar Computer Kiosk. In addition, free photos of your finish will be available to 5K finishers.
Awards will be presented to the 3 male and female overall and all runners will receive a custom medal.
There will be water stations a the half mile and 2 mile locations. Fruit and water will be provided at the finish line.
While walkers are encouraged, those moving at less then 30 minutes per mile may have to move to the sidewalks as roads are opened to vehicular traffic.
