Race HQ will be on Jubilee Gardens, Ely. The course is fantastic; an iconic river swim, flat bike course taking in the Fens and a picturesque run. Maps of the course can be seen on our Monster website.
Registration and racking will take place on Saturday and Sunday, with registration at 14:00 - 16:30 on Saturday and 04:30 - 06:20 on Sunday. Racking will b available at 04:30 - 07:10 on Sunday. Briefing will be at 06:30.
To ensure the paramount safety of all athletes we are required to place cut off times for all three disciplines which are based on a running clock from the start of the race. The cut off times are as specified below. Athletes falling outside of the running clock times at the conclusion of each leg will be requested to withdraw from the race for logistical and safety reasons.
Swim 1 Hour 10 minutes, Running clock 1:10
Bike 4 Hours 20 minutes, Running clock 5:30
Run 3 Hours, Running clock 8:30
As the event will take place on the same day as the Monster Standard you are guaranteed a fabulous atmosphere! We also have camping for those that who to stop overnight.
