Following the original postponement of our traditional April Colonel 5k due to COVID-19, we are thrilled to announce the 3rd Annual Colonel 5k has been rescheduled for July 2020! The 3rd Annual Colonel 5k will be a Virtual event with the possibility of an in-person option to be determined for July 18, 2020.

More information will be posted soon about the in-person option with details on Phase II guidelines for participants. The in-person option could be subject to cancellation due to changes in the state of Louisiana protocol regarding COVID-19, such as returning to Phase I protocol. All registrations are valid for the virtual option so if the in-person option is canceled, there will be no refunds.
 

When: July 11 - 18
Where: Virtual

Virtual participants will have a week (7/11 to 7/18) to race/submit a 5k anywhere or are invited to use the Colonel 5k course following normal traffic rules and safety protocols for running/walking around the Nicholls campus. The Colonel 5k features a flat/fast course all on Nicholls State University's beautiful campus. Come support Colonel Track & Field and Cross Country and run the streets and recreational path Nicholls Alumni remember and current students traverse daily.

All advanced registrations before July 18th will have the option to pick a Red or Black race shirt and the option to purchase both colors. All proceeds raised benefit Nicholls Track & Field and Cross Country. If you or your company are interested in joining as a Premier Donor or Donor, please contact stefanie.slekis@nicholls.edu before July 5th.
