Back again the RAF Sprint Triathlon is to be held at Cranwell in the county of Lincolnshire.
With a pool swim this event is ideal for the less experienced athlete as well as the seasoned pro.
RAF Cranwell Sprint Triathlon
Thursday 16th May 2019 starting at 13:00Hrs
The triathlon will comprise of a 400 meter pool swim, a 25K cycle and a 5K run to be completed in succession, using a dedicated area for competitors to transition between disciplines. The 2019 RAFC Cranwell triathlon will be carried out using Cranwell's own 25 meter swimming pool so (16 lengths need to be completed). Public road routes around RAFC Cranwell and the surrounding countryside for the cycle element (so the Highway Code must be observed at ALL times). The run route will take place within the boundaries of RAFC Cranwell using undulating paths of grass and tarmac before finishing under the gantry near the pool to receive your well earned medal!
