REGISTRATION: REGISTRATION COMING SHORTLY or pre-race registration will be starting at 7 AM at the Trailhead.

REASON: This event is the culmination of our BE CREATIVE WITH NATIVES WEEK which is a week of events to encourage all to focus more on Native Landscaping. This is a fundraiser for the Rattlesnake Slope Preserve. We will be scattering native wildflower seeds during the run.  We appreciate all of your support in registration and in buying merchandise which all goes to keeping the cost low for this event and for the Preserve.

There will be some extra shirts in limited sizes and quantities available for purchase the day of the race.  Plus there will be other Runners of the Sage apparel and Pint Glasses for sale.

PARKING: Come early to grab a parking spot at the trailhead. Overflow parking will be on the shoulder of 225. This highway isn’t very busy but does have some traffic so be careful walking to the race start.

LODGING: Hampton Inn Richland

The run is a trail half marathon throughout the Rattlesnake Slope Preserve.  It showcases the beauty and openness of the Sagebrush Steppe of Southeastern Washington and will be roughly 1800 feet gain over the 13.1 miles. This is a challenging course so we recommend to bring your own water and fuel. However there will be aid stations at miles 2, 3, 6.5, 9 and 10 with limited fuel, because it has to all be hiked in.
