The Covington 5K Run/Walk is an annual event held in Covington, IN promoting a healthy community. The net proceeds from each year's event are donated back into the Covington community. All donations received to the Covington 5K Run/Walk will aid in covering the cost of the annual event (i.e. timing, shirts, awards, marketing, and support) with net proceeds being contributed to the beneficiaries selected.
Cost
Registration prior to May 29th: $25.00 includes a T-shirt $20.00 – no T-shirt
Race Day Registration: $25.00 MUST be paid in cash. Does not guarantee a T-shirt

On-Site registration will be available at packet pick-up 05/31 as well as Race Day at 7 AM.
Date/Time
Saturday June 1, 2019. Start time is 8:00 AM. Please arrive at the Covington City Park in Covington, IN between 7:00AM and 7:30AM to make sure you have enough time to catch the shuttle to the starting line and for late registration. Race day registration fee MUST be paid in cash and ends at 7:30am. Shuttles will be available between 7:15 and 7:40 to take participants to the Pearl St Starting Line. The last shuttle will leave the park at 7:40am.
Packet Pick Up
Packet pick up will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 31 at the Gazebo on the Covington Square. Your race packet will include: T-shirt, race bib, course map. If you are unable to pick up your packet, please allow yourself time to pick it up on race day at the registration table in the park.
Location / Parking
Please park your car at the Covington City Park (1 City Park Covington, IN 47932). Sign in at the Registration table and the shuttle will take you to the starting line. The race will finish at the Covington City Park.
Awards
The top three winners for the Men’s Division and the Women’s Division will receive awards. Awards will also be given to the top 3 finishers in each age group (Less than 10, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over.)

KIDS FUN RUN
Immediately following the 5k Run/Walk there will be a short “Fun Run” for children. The “Fun Run” is free and we invite all children to participate.
Donations
Donations will be accepted via the Race Website. All proceeds from the Covington 5K will go to the announced beneficiaries upon selection.
