Join us for the Inaugural Open Roads Classic cycling event benefiting the Open Door Clinic of Alamance County.
This awesome cycling event will begin and end at the Grove Winery in Gibsonville. Chose from three beautiful routes of 15, 31, & 62 miles. All routes will be well marked and fully supported with rest stops (and refreshments). The ride is chip timed to keep track of your performance - but all ride at your own pace. All skill levels are welcome and there is a ride route appropriate for every rider. Once you make it back to the Grove Winery, all riders will be treated to lunch, drink (1 free beer or wine for riders age 21+), a live band, and a t-shirt.
Can't decide which route to sign-up for? Don't worry! You can change your mind at packet pickup.
Proceeds from this event will go to the Open Door Clinic of Alamance County. The Open Door Clinic is a non-profit organization that offers the highest level of healthcare, vision care, and mental health care, free of charge, to over 500 uninsured residents of Alamance County per year. With over 2,500 patient visits per year, the Open Door Clinic relies upon grants, fundraisers, and donations to operate.
Cyclists are invited to make an additional donation to or fundraise on behalf of the Open Door Clinic. Those who raise a minimum of $50 will receive a custom designed pint glass. An instant collectable!
We look forward to you joining us for an incredible day of riding, eating, drinking, and helping others.
There will be no early packet pickup. Packet pickup will take place at the Grove Winery on the day of the event from 7am-830am.
