Braves 5k

Registration is now closed for the Physical 5k/Fun Run.

Virtual 5k is still open for registration (No T-shirts or medals are available.)

This is a 5K run/walk event for all ages and abilities. This first-time event will be untimed but there will be a clock at the start/finish line so participants will know their times. All participants will receive a custom t-shirt and all finishers will receive a coveted finisher medal. Strollers are welcome (although we ask that you start at the back of the starting line for the safety of all participants). Unfortunately, no pets allowed at this time.

We have added a 1 mile fun run and a Virtual 5k Option. WIth the Virtual option, you will run the 5K on your own and email/screen shot your efforts to be included in the results.

All participants that register before April 14th will be guaranteed a t-shirt and event finisher medal.

This event benefits the Woodland Heights Middle School PTSO. The proceeds will be used to fund the PTSO benefiting several school programs. Formally Brawley Middle School is an above average, public school located in Mooresville, NC.

We are a volunteer-based, nonprofit organization whose purpose is to promote and support the instructional focus of our teachers and administrators, and to advocate for all our children through consistent communication, parent, teacher and student involvement, and fundraising activities.

Our Mission

1. Promote the welfare of children and youth at the middle school.

2. To bring into closer relations the parents, guardians, teachers, and students so that they may work together to determine and prioritize school needs.
