Miles for Meridian – Virtual Edition in honor of Mental Health Month
Go the distance while keeping the distance!
While many of us are working from home, virtual learning, and just not in our normal routine - now is the best time to participate in a virtual run event! Change your online chat to - AWAY and move for Meridian!
All proceeds from this virtual event will benefit Meridian Behavioral Healthcare, Inc.. Meridian's mission is to promote the health, recovery, and well-being of those affected by mental illnesses and substance use disorders through prevention, coordinated treatment, and supportive services.
It's business as "unusual", Meridian has seen a 10X increase in use of virtual services during COVID-19 crisis. Once you complete your distance, you will have the opportunity to submit your time - your time needs to be submitted by midnight on Monday, May 18th!
To submit your time, CLICK HERE Visit the results tab on this page, then select the results for your distance (1 mile , 1/2 of a 5K, or full 5K). Find your name in the results for your distance by clicking on RACE. To the right of your name, you will see an "Update Time" button. Click "Update Time" and enter your result. If you have trouble inputting your time, email it to jimshieldsmra@comcast.net. Distances:
Full 5K: $20
½ 5K: $15
1 mile fun run: $10
(5K=3.1 miles)
Registration for any distance includes:
• Participation in virtual event -go the distance while keeping the distance!
• Finisher t-shirt mailed after event completion, May 18th - shirt design coming soon!
