A VIRTUAL 5K FAMILY RUN/WALK TO SUPPORT THE ARKANSAS NURSES ASSOCIATION!
The Arkansas Nurses Association (ARNA) is the state nurses' organization that speaks for professional nursing in the state. ARNA fosters high standards of nursing practice, promotes professional development, and advocates for the profession of nursing. The ARNA 5K Walk/Run is being held to support the thousands of nurses that are on the frontlines of the healthcare fight daily but especially during this COVID-19 pandemic. The American Nurses Association has again declared 2021 the Year of the Nurse. Arkansas nurses are again suffering through a surge in COVID-19 with the Delta variant causing more cases, hospitalizations and even deaths in our state. Like always, nurses are stepping forward.
In the United States, for 20 years, nurses have been voted the most trusted profession by Gallup Polls. Your participation in this race will allow ARNA to further work to ensure that no matter what the challenge - nurses continue to improve healthcare for all.

For a $30 donation, you will be getting out and challenging yourself with a virtual run or walk and knowing that you are supporting the Arkansas Nurses Association. WHAT IS A VIRTUAL RUN/WALK?
It's a fundraising event that can be completed in your own neighborhood, at a local park, or even on the treadmill. Sign up, gather some friends, decide on a route, and get out and move! The best part is, you'll know that each step you take is helping the Arkansas Nurses Association!

The IYR Virtual mobile app syncs with all virtual races hosted on ITS YOUR RACE, including our event! After you are registered, click the link below to find out more information about the mobile app and how to use it for tracking your 5K race. You can also upload photos from your own personal race course, or share a selfie at the end!
Registrants can begin running their race on October 1, 2021 at 12AM PST. Participants must complete their virtual race and submit their results by 11:59PM on October 31, 2021. After this time, results can no longer be posted.
