Welcome to the 1st annual Pine Ridge Panthers Football virtual 5k Run or Walk.
Quarantine got you restless and out of shape? Get outside and soak up some fresh air while you work off those quarantine snacks. You can run or walk the 5k anywhere you like. Around your neighborhood, around the park, at the beach, the mall, or on your treadmill! Use your preferred fitness app to track your distance and time. The event will start on June 8th, 2020 and will end on August 14th, 2020. That’s 10 weeks to complete your race and submit results. Complete your 5k run or walk anytime within the event dates, but it must be completed at one time For a total distance of 5 kilometers (3.1 miles). Once completed don’t forget to come back to the race page and submit your finish time. Race registration closes at midnight on July 9th, but the event will continue until August 14th. A virtual race is super convenient and can be motivating if competing against friends or family on finish time. All race participants will receive a custom Panthers Football finisher medal after the conclusion of the event.
All proceeds from this race go to support your Deltona Pine Ridge High School Panthers Football Booster Club. All Booster Club earnings go directly to the Pine Ridge Football athletic department to help fund new equipment, game day transportation, uniforms, athletic camps, and more!
