Join us for a Happy Pace Glow Run 5K and 1 mile fun run to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society! Bring the family for an evening of fun!! Following our glow run, there will be a raffle, live band and snacks to enjoy!!
All money raised will go toward LLS Man and Woman of the Year Campagin. This campagain is very close and dear to my heart. On June 22, 2010 my son, Brennen, was diagnosed with Leukemia at the age of two. This diagnosis was devestating, as you can imagine it would be for any parent to hear "your child has cancer". Seeing your baby go through chemotherapy, radiation, lumbar punctures, and everything else that comes along with cancer is something no parent should ever have to watch nor any child should have to endure. What is even more heartbreaking is the parents who have lost their child to these terrible cancers. Even one child lost is one child too many.
LLS is dedicating funds specifically to childhood cancer research! Millions of dollars will go toward research on improving and fundamentally changing the way childhood cancer is treated. This a huge! My goal is to raise $50,000 to dedicate toward the LLS Children's Initiative. By participating in our Happy Pace Glow Run, you are helping my team reach our goal and putting the LLS closer to finding a cure!!
