Please join us for the 3rd Annual River Rock Run 5K being brought to you by the BRRAlliance (Black Rock Riverside Alliance)! We are excited to announce that we are hosting our race on Friday September 13, 2024. We will once again be using the brand new USATF certified course and will provide professional RFID timing and finish line services with the help of Race Management Solutions!
Proceeds from the event will be used to fund the operations and environmental and economic development initiatives of the BRRAlliance and their mission of improved quality of life and community enrichment for those that live and work in the North District of Buffalo. START/FINISH 6:00pm Start Time
The race will start and finish at Riverside Park in Buffalo using USATF Course (#NY23023JJ). The route will take runners through this Olmsted Park, over the I-190 via the pedestrian bridge, and then south along the scenic Shoreline Trail to Tow Path Park before returning to the finish line following the same path. The course has been professionally measured and certified by Jeff John of BuffaloRunners.com.

REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUP
Online registration will remain open right up until the start of the race. River Rock Run t-shirts will be guaranteed to all participants who register by September 5, 2024. A small quantity of extra shirts will be ordered and distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis until they are gone. Packet pickup will take place inside the park from 5:00pm right up until the start of the race at 6:00pm.
5K Registration Fee: $30 / $35 on race dayAGE GROUPS & AWARDS
Trophies will be presented to the 1st place overall male and female finishers. All participants will receive finisher medals and age group winners (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male & female) will be announced and presented with custom decals to go on the back of their medals. All runners can print custom certificates and view finish line photos from the results page after the race.Age categories will be 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 and older.

TIMING & FINISH LINE SERVICESTiming and finish line services using industry leading Jaguar Electronic RFID timing will be provided by Race Management Solutions. Results are updated throughout the race in real time and can be accessed at any time after crossing the finish line using any one of the following options:
