The Merced Running Club and On Your Mark Events are proud to announce the Atwater Run for Independence is back again this year as an In-Person event.
Fees -
Youth - Ages 18 & Under $25 through 6/29, $35 thereafter.
Adult - Ages 19 & Over $35 through 6/29, $40 thereafter.
Fees includes a custom race t-shirt and post race refreshments. No Refunds
Register by June 29th to be guaranteed your t-shirt size. LATE Registration after June 29th, T-shirts will be on a first come first served basis.

Three deep in age groups 9 & Under, 10-12, 13-17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79 and 80 & Over.
5-Mile-
Overall Male/Female and Masters
Three deep in age groups 12 & Under, 13-17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 & Over
Walkers are welcome on the 2-Mile course. The 5-Mile is a run only.
Due to Insurance Restrictions, no strollers, skates, or bikes are allowed on the run course.
The 2-mile and 5-mile races will start at 7:30am on Sunday, the 4th of July. Packet pick up and race day registration begin at 5:45am and close at 7:15am near the corner of Grove/2nd St. across from the finish line archway. NEW THIS YEAR...the Start and the Finish will be located near the registration area at Second St./Grove Ave.
The Merced Running Club (MRC) is able to award scholarships to local student/athletes. Each year, the MRC accepts applications from graduating seniors that have participated in either Cross Country, Track, or both. If you are a returning participant in this event, we welcome you back and encourage you to bring a friend or family member and celebrate the 4th of July with hundreds of other healthy minded people.
To ensure that the race will start on time, please arrive early (6-7am). Packet Pick up and Race Day Registration will close at 7:15am. Race starts at 7:30am!
On race day, we will adhere to the current CDC guidelines in place at that time.
