The Scorpion Relay returns again in 2016! LASD Century Station is proudly hosting the event at Frank G. Bonelli Regional Park in San Dimas on Sunday February 7, 2016.
The event will consist of the following: a (6) person team event, an individual 5-mile event (1 lap), an individual 10-mile event (2 laps), and an individual 15-mile event (3 laps). Teams will run 2 runners at a time (1 lap per runner).
Entry fees are as follows:
TEAM - $120 per team ($20 per runner) until midnight 1/30/16
$180 per team ($30 per runner) after midnight 1/30/16
Team Divisions: Open, Mixed (3 male/3 female), Women, and Explorer/Cadet
Team Awards: Top 3 finishing teams in each division.
INDIVIDUAL 5 Mile - $20 until midnight 1/30/16
$30 after midnight 1/30/16
INDIVIDUAL 10 Mile - $30 until midnight 1/30/16
$40 after midnight 1/30/16
INDIVIDUAL 15 Mile - $40 until midnight 1/30/16
$50 after midnight 1/30/16
Individual awards: Top 3 Male/Female Open (under 40) and Masters (40 and Older), for each division.
Team leaders must register and pay for the entire team registration. This will allow for less confusion on race day. Waivers will be required from all team members prior to running.
Registrations prior to midnight 1/23/16 are guaranteed a t-shirt in the requested size. Registrations after this time are not guaranteed a shirt. It will be first come, first served.
Race-day registration and check-in will be from 6:30 am to 7:45 am. All teams will start at 8:00 am. All individuals will start at 8:15 am. There will be no late starts allowed.
LASD personnel are reminded this event is not sanctioned by LASD, and therefore is not covered by Worker's Compensation in the event of injury.
