Race Information:
All race times are local to South Pittsburg, TN (Central Daylight Savings Time)
- Optional pre-race packet pickup will be available FRIDAY, APRIL 26th near the Subway Sandwich shop (101 S Cedar Ave, South Pittsburg, TN 37380).
- For best race day experience, please register online at home or on your phone. Packet pick up for the race will be located at the LODGE FACTORY STORE (from the outside, front-facing of building, registration booth will be set up outside on the right side of the building) on E 3rd Street on Saturday, April 27th.
- Saturday morning registration at Lodge opens at 6:30am CDT and will close at 7:30am CDT.
- Those who register AFTER April 12th will not be guaranteed a race shirt. You could be asked to check back in after the race.
- The race will begin at the Lodge Factory. This year we will begin the race by running through the Lodge Foundry.
- Race bib will get you free entry into the festival and Cornbread Alley on Saturday, only.
- The course has changed. Please go to https://cornbreadfestival5krunwalk.itsyourrace.com/EventCourses.aspx?id=6938&rid=6507 and view the NEW course. This year there will be less turns but many more thrills!
- All races begin at 8:00 am CDT. 5K runners will line up first, followed by 5K walkers participants will be last.
- Arrows and volunteers will be along course routes, indicating turns.
- Finish line will be at the South Pittsburg Elementary School. Awards ceremony will follow at 9:30 CDT.
- Drinks, power bars, and bananas will be provided at the finish line. Thank you so much for participating in the 2024 National Cornbread Race.

Parking:
From I-24: Take Exit 152A or 152B, take US Hwy 72 South (Note: at split to Scottsboro, keep left on Hwy 72). At the first red light, take a right. Free parking is located at 308 East 3rd Street, South Pittsburg, TN. This parking lot is located at the corner of Ash Street and 3rd Street.
From Alabama: After crossing the state line, go to the second red light, and take a left. Free parking is located at 308 East 3rd Street, South Pittsburg, TN. This parking lot is located at the corner of Ash Street and 3rd Street.
Directions from the parking lot:
From the parking lot, walk north on 3rd Street to Cedar Ave – this is the main thoroughfare of the Cornbread Festival. Turn left and walk one block. Tower Community Bank stage will be on your right. Race day registration, bib and t-shirt pick up will be located here.
Registration:
6:30 AM CST Race day registration and packet pickup will be at the Tower Community Bank Stage, three blocks from the High School track on Cedar Ave.
